Skills Highlights: VMware ESXi, Vcenter, SRM. Cisco UCS. Red Hat Linux Systems. Solaris Operating System Ansible, Nagios. Technical Skill Description: VMware & Compute: Design, implement and maintain VMware vSphere infrastructure. Monitor, troubleshoot and capacity planning of vSphere environment. Proactively identify and perform hardware and software upgrades. Built, configured and deployed VMware pools, including parent/template image creation for end user and server roles. Designed and maintained scripts for VMware infrastructure with processes ranging from configuration of template/parents to detailed VMware queries. Automated the P2V and V2V process. Automated the server data collection and developed capacity planning requirements. Developed a monitoring strategy and right-sized virtual servers. Experience on SRM. Design & Execute complete Workflow for SRM. Use VMware update manager to create or edit baselines and baseline groups. Perform upgrades to operating systems and layered software packages (i.e. VDI components, Windows services, or other enterprise apps) as necessary. Performing backups, troubleshooting and problem resolution for servers associated with a VMware virtual infrastructure. Maintain, upgrade, and implement improvements to the VMWare ESXi infrastructure. Assists in the evaluation, recommends negotiations and contracts for the purchases of system software products. Performs technical analysis, installation, maintenance and modification of operating system software mainly Linux & Solaris and Windows. Troubleshoots and resolves problems and monitors system performance while simultaneously support staff engaged in similar efforts. Design, develop and maintain automation of VMWARE infrastructure management. Design installation, management and routine upgrades of VMWARE infrastructure. Provide 3rd level support of VMWARE infrastructure. Provide key technical consultation with major migration and transition programs. Develop and maintain vCenter Orchestrator automated workflows; work with team members supporting their development and operation of workflows. Diagnosis of VMware performance and perform VMware performance tuning. Review completion and implementation of system additions and/or enhancements and make recommendations to management and/or clients.
