Job Description:As a Testing Engineer 1 in our product development team, you will play a critical role in delivering a high-quality, user-centric product experience. You will be involved early in the product development lifecycle, helping to define, develop, and execute test plans to ensure stability, usability, and performance of our products.This is an entry-level position ideal for someone passionate about quality, automation, and continuous improvement in a fast-paced, agile environment.Key Responsibilities:Collaborate with product managers, developers, and UX designers to understand feature requirements and user workflows.Write and execute test cases for web/mobile/product features based on functional and technical specifications.Perform manual and exploratory testing across platforms and devices to ensure feature readiness and user satisfaction.Identify, document, and track software defects with precision and clarity.Validate bug fixes and perform regression testing for product releases.Participate in daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives as part of the agile development team.Contribute to the continuous improvement of testing processes and tools.Must-Have Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline.2-4 years of experience in software testing, internships, or project work related to QA.Solid understanding of QA methodologies, SDLC, and agile practices.Exposure to test management tools (e.g., JIRA, Zephyr, TestRail).Familiarity with debugging tools and browser developer tools.Eagerness to learn automation (e.g., Selenium, Cypress) and basic scripting (Python, JavaScript, or similar).Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.Passion for delivering great user experiences and high-quality products.Good to Have:Hands-on experience with API testing using tools like Postman or REST-assured.Basic understanding of CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab).Exposure to performance or security testing is a plus.Knowledge of version control systems (e.g., Git).
