Overview:EagleView, the leader in aerial imagery, is hiring a Platform Engineer 1 in Cloud Platform Engineering Department.As a Platform Engineer Intern, you are responsible for helping EagleView achieve continuous delivery and supporting developer enablement and cost optimization of our cloud environments. You will be working on several automation projects in IT and IT Product fields ensuring seamless product delivery. In cooperation with software engineers, Platform Engineering teams, you will use a scientific methodology to identify programmatic solutions to achieve objectives that will be executed within the SAFe Agile framework. You should have a programming background in Python, or in any similar programming technologies and must have had knowledge or exposure to specifically Microsoft O365 Copilot Studios and Power Automate. Additional useful skills would be containerization with Docker, experience with AWS and experience with some form of Infrastructure as Code. You can function independently and enjoy cross-team collaboration in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities:
  • Work closely with IT System Engineers and Platform Engineering teams on developing and implementing automation solutions using Python or similar programming language.
  • Primary focus will be to Build and implement AI-powered automation workflows using Microsoft tools such as O365 Copilot Studiots and Power Automate.
  • Contribute to AI/ML/GenAI integration projects to enhance infrastructure capabilities and operational efficiency.
  • Have a good understanding of DevOps based good practices and implementations.
  • Develop monitoring and key metrics dashboards in PowerBI or similar tools.
  • Engage in troubleshooting and resolving challenging problems in an efficient and robust manner.
  • Provide regular reports on project progress, challenges, and outcomes to senior team members.
Qualifications:
  • Completed BA or BS in computer science or related field and/or equivalent work experience
  • Strong programming skills in Python (preferred) or other relevant languages with demonstrable project work and work experience
  • Practical experience with Microsoft Copilot Studios and Power Automate for workflow Automation
  • Profienciency with other developer focused Microsoft integrations such as PowerBI
  • Demonstrated ability to create and deploy AI-driven automation solutions
Preferred Experience:
  • Practical experience with cloud platforms, preferably AWS
  • Prior experience or projects in automation or cloud with AWS, Jenkins, Kubernetes, and Terraform is highly preferable.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills to work effectively within a team.
  • Strong analytical skills and a proactive approach to solving technical problems.
  • Ability to take initiative, ownership of tasks, and deliver results independently and efficiently.
