- Define and own the global SAP MM & Procurement Systems roadmap aligned with business and digital transformation objectives
- Lead ECC to S/4HANA MM transformations, including adoption of Best Practices and industry standards
- Act as a trusted advisor to CIO, CPO, and Supply Chain leadership
- Drive process standardization vs localization decisions across regions
- Own end-to-end design and governance of:
- Procurement (P2P)
- Inventory Management
- Valuation & Account Determination
- Logistics Invoice Verification
- Vendor Master Governance
- Ensure tight integration with:
- SAP FI/CO
- SAP SD
- SAP PP
- SAP Ariba / SRM
- SAP EWM / TM
- Approve functional designs, WRICEF objects, and ensure clean core principles
- Oversee multiple global SAP programs simultaneously (rollouts, upgrades, optimizations)
- Manage budgets, vendors, system integrators, and delivery partners
- Ensure adherence to project governance, milestones, and quality standards
- Drive risk management and issue resolution at executive level
- Lead business process reengineering (BPR) initiatives in procurement and supply chain
- Drive automation and innovation using:
- S/4HANA Embedded Analytics
- Fiori apps
- Business Workflow & RPA
- Define and track KPIs:
- Procurement cycle time
- Inventory turns
- Working capital
- Vendor performance
- Ensure measurable ROI from SAP MM initiatives
- Build and mentor high-performing SAP MM leadership teams
- Establish Centers of Excellence (CoE) for SAP Supply Chain
- Drive continuous learning on S/4HANA, Ariba, and emerging SAP technologies
- Lead succession planning and talent development
- Collaborate with:
- Procurement Heads
- Supply Chain & Operations Leaders
- Finance Leadership
- IT Architecture & Security teams
- Manage strategic relationships with:
- SAP
- System Integrators
- Cloud and tooling partners
- Represent SAP MM domain in executive steering committees
