To know more about us, visit at https://enkingint.org/ Location - Indore Duties and Responsibilities Preparation of project design documents, monitoring reports, feasibility reports and estimation as well as actual emission reductions from forestry projects under various standards (Clean development mechanism (hereafter CDM),Verra (Hereafter VCS), The Gold Standard (Hereafter GS), Global Carbon Council (GCC)etc.). Knowledge of CDM standards, VCS standard , and GS standard process as per the requirement of respective registry. Ensuing due diligence (cross checking of the parameters, emission reduction, L1,L2 and L3 check) during validation and verification of assigned project activity. Support team in developing strategy and planning with specific actions pertaining to Renewable as well as Other Land Uses (AFOLU) projects. Conduct site visits and travel to project locations whenever needed Maintain good communication with the designated operational entities (DOEs), project proponents and other relevant stakeholders related to a project during the execution of the project. Develop a detailed and extensive work plan for each assigned project activity with the operations team and sales team describing the objectives, goals, and responsibilities for the project, and take action as per the work plan to meet the deadline related to methodology or buyer requirement. Develop and manage strong relationships with the clients from private sectors as well as government departments and other key stakeholders associated with assignments. Ensure timely delivery of services according to the project contract terms and time. Ensure that any kind of penalty if involved in the contract is duly taken care of during the execution of the project. Provide technical input to newly sourced opportunities by the sales team. Keep the operations and sales team about updates and key milestones achieved in a project. Timely updating the team about latest changes in Verra, CDM GS and GCC guidelines related to renewable as well as forestry sector. Ensure all the review comments as raised by CDM, VCS, GS and GCC is taken duly into consideration and provide all technical support while resolving the comments to the team member. Should ensure the project cycle related to each mechanism is taken care of and the project reaches its logical conclusion. Essential qualifications Bachelor in engineering or environment or energy and Masters (preferable) in forestry, agriculture, natural resource management, or energy and environment Hands on experience of basic technical tools like GHG protocols and some basic industrial knowledge. At least 6 years to 8 years of work experience in renewable as well as forestry, climate change mitigation sector. Familiar with carbon credit project cycle/preliminary knowledge under standards like CDM, Verra GS and GCC Ability to learn and support projects from different categories of projects like renewable s, power projects, waste treatment as well as agriculture, green carbon, etc.
