  • End-to-end project execution with independent ownership and accountability for project delivery.
  • Supervise and manage Erection, Testing, and Commissioning of Extra High Voltage (EHV) Switchyard equipment up to 400KV, including Lightning Arresters (LA), CVT, CC, CT, PT, Isolators, Circuit Breakers (CB), and Transformers.
  • Oversee installation and commissioning of electrical systems such as HT Panels, LT Panels, Batteries, Battery Chargers, and PLCC systems.
  • Lead on-site project execution, ensuring smooth coordination between contractors, architects, project management teams, clients, supervisors, and labor teams.
  • Manage site manpower and labor deployment, implementing effective manpower planning and utilization strategies.
  • Monitor site progress through continuous engagement with site engineers, reviewing execution status and resolving technical or operational challenges.
  • Drive erection and commissioning activities at site, ensuring adherence to timelines, quality standards, and safety protocols.
  • Provide regular project updates to senior management, including progress reports, milestones, and risk mitigation strategies.
  • Track project progression using structured reporting tools and flowcharts, ensuring visibility and transparency in project execution.
  • Handle local procurement activities and ensure efficient material management including store and inventory control.
  • Coordinate timely procurement and availability of materials to avoid project delays.
  • Liaise with government authorities and regulatory bodies to facilitate project approvals, inspections, and completion requirements.
  • Coordinate with backend teams including design, accounts, and billing to ensure seamless project execution and financial closure.
  • Lead and mentor a team of Project Incharges, defining clear goals, allocating resources, and driving team performance.
  • Ensure overall project effectiveness, delivering projects within timelines, maintaining quality standards, and ensuring strict safety compliance.
  • Oversee complete site management and coordination, ensuring successful and timely project completion.
Requirements -
  • Bachelor's Degree / Diploma in Electrical Engineering with 12 + years of experience in execution of HV/EHV substation or switchyard projects (Minimum 3 years in 765 KV substation project).
  • Hands-on experience in Erection, Testing, and Commissioning of EHV equipment such as LA, CVT, CT, PT, Isolators, Circuit Breakers, Transformers, along with HT/LT panels, battery systems, and PLCC.
  • Proven ability to manage complete site execution independently, including manpower handling, contractor coordination, site supervision, and adherence to safety and quality standards.
  • Strong skills in project coordination, material planning, procurement follow-ups, and liaison with internal teams and government authorities to ensure timely project completion.
