Overview:As a Senior Application Tester, you will ensure the quality, reliability, and security of our enterprise software applications. Your extensive experience in both manual and automated testing will be instrumental in maintaining high standards for our projects. You'll collaborate closely with development teams, architects, and business stakeholders to validate the functionality and performance of our systems.Responsibilities:Manual Testing:
  • Develop and execute comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test procedures.
  • Conduct thorough walkthroughs of test cases/scripts with Test Managers, Requirement Leads, Project Managers, and Development Leads.
  • Document complex business workflows to create effective test scenarios.
  • Perform user acceptance testing (UAT) and record results.
  • Present UAT findings to IT and Operations stakeholders for approval.
Automated Testing:
  • Architect and enhance automated testing frameworks.
  • Collaborate with developers to create robust unit tests.
  • Implement automated test scripts using industry-standard tools and frameworks.
  • Continuously improve and evolve our testing processes
Technical Skills:
  • Proficiency in QA tools, scripting languages, and automation tester frameworks.
  • Strong programming skills in Java.
  • Nice to have : Knowledge of SQL and Oracle databases. Familiarity with front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript). Understanding of Spring Boot and Azure Data Models.
Desired Experience:
  • 4-7 years of hands-on experience in software testing, including manual and automated testing.
  • Exposure to cloud technologies (such as Azure and AWS) and CI/CD tools (e.g., GitLab, Jenkins).
  • Familiarity with security testing, vulnerability assessment, and OWASP Top 10 vulnerabilities.
  • Experience with load testing and performance testing tools.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or related fields.
