- 8-15+ years in Government Tendering / B2G Sales
- Proven track record of winning and executing government tenders
- Experience in setting up and scaling a tendering division from scratch
- Experience handling high-value bids and multiple tenders simultaneously
- Build and lead the entire Government Tendering vertical as an independent business unit
- Identify and evaluate relevant tenders across GeM, CPPP, state & central portals
- Analyze tender feasibility, costing, margins, and risk before bidding
- Handle end-to-end bid management: registration, EMD, documentation, submission, and tracking
- Prepare and review technical & commercial bids with high accuracy
- Ensure 100% compliance with tender requirements, legal terms, and timelines
- Liaise and build strong relationships with government departments, officials & agencies
- Manage vendor empanelment, registrations, and required certifications
- Coordinate internally with procurement, production, finance, and logistics teams
- Drive pricing strategy, negotiation, and bid competitiveness
- Handle post-award processes: order execution, documentation, invoicing, and payments
- Track receivables, billing cycles, and ensure timely payment collection
- Resolve bid-related queries, rejections, and escalations effectively
- Monitor competitor activity, market trends, and upcoming opportunities
- Build SOPs, systems, and scalable processes for tendering operations
- Hire, train, and lead a team as the function grows
- Own revenue targets, profitability, and P&L for the tendering vertical
- Bachelor’s degree (MBA / Supply Chain / Business Management preferred)
- Certifications or hands-on experience with GeM, CPPP, eProcurement portals preferred
- Strong understanding of government compliance, contracts & documentation
