Job Description:Electrical Section manager - Electrical CoE DisciplineThe Electrical Session Manager will lead a team of skilled engineers responsible for designing and implementing electrical systems for building and process electrification projects. This role involves overseeing medium-voltage (MV) and low-voltage (LV) equipment sizing , including switchgears, transformers, and related components, as well as managing advanced power system static and dynamic studies. In addition to technical leadership, the manager will spearhead the digital transformation of the electrical department, introducing modern design tools, automation, and data-driven workflows to enhance efficiency and innovation.Key Responsibilities

Lead and manage a multidisciplinary electrical design team.
Oversee design activities for building and process electrification projects.
Ensure accurate sizing and specification of MV & LV equipment, including switchgear and transformers.
Coordinate Dynamic & Stability Studies, Regulatory/ Grid Compliance studies
Drive digital transformation initiatives within the electrical department, including:

Adoption of advanced design software and automation tools.
Implementation of data-driven processes and workflows.
Collaborate with other engineering disciplines to ensure integrated project delivery.
Maintain compliance with industry standards, codes, and safety regulations.
Mentor and develop team members, fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
Minimum 10 years of experience in electrical design and engineering for power plant projects or industrial projects.
Strong knowledge of MV & LV systems , switchgear, transformers, and power system analysis.
Proficiency in electrical design tools (e.g., ETAP, Cadmatic, DIgSILENT PowerFactory , AutoCAD, BIM platforms).
Excellent leadership, communication, and team management skills.
Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Knowledge of power generation and power grids is seen as an advantage
Project Management certification and skills is seen as an advantage
Cost awareness and effectiveness is seen as an advantage
