Educational Qualification : 15 years full time educationSummary: As a Security Engineer, you will apply security skills to design, build, and protect enterprise systems, applications, data, assets, and people. Your typical day will involve collaborating with various teams to ensure the security of information and infrastructures, while also addressing potential cyber threats. You will engage in proactive measures to safeguard business processes and contribute to the overall security posture of the organization, ensuring that all systems are resilient against evolving cyber risks. Roles & Responsibilities: - Expected to be an SME. - Collaborate and manage the team to perform. - Responsible for team decisions. - Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions. - Define and evolve the security architecture strategy for the DevSecOps toolchain - Lead the integration of security and compliance controls into CI/CD pipelines using GitHub, JFrog, HashiCorp Vault/Terraform, Harness, and Backstage - Develop and maintain security blueprints, threat models, and compliance frameworks aligned with ISO 27001, SOC 2, and GDPR - Orchestrate automated security testing, policy enforcement (IaC/PaC), and vulnerability management across cloud-native environments (Azure, GCP) - Collaborate with engineering, operations, and compliance teams to ensure secure-by-design principles are applied across all stages of development - Provide architectural guidance on secure coding, containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), and secrets management - Monitor emerging threats and industry trends to continuously improve the security posture of the toolchain - Document security architecture decisions, processes, and incident response protocols - Design, implement, and manage baseline security controls for cloud environments in GCP Professional & Technical Skills: - Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Cloud Security Architecture in GCP. - Good To Have Skills: Experience with Hybrid Cloud Security, Microsoft Azure Security. - Strong understanding of security frameworks and compliance standards. - Experience with risk assessment and management methodologies. - Familiarity with security tools and technologies for threat detection and response. - Proven experience (min. 3 years) in cloud security with focus on GCP and Azure - Strong understanding of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and Policy as Code (PaC) concepts - Proficiency in security tools and frameworks (e.g., Terraform, Sentinel) - Experience with DevSecOps practices and tools - Proven experience with GitHub, JFrog Artifactory, HashiCorp Vault/Terraform, Harness, and Backstage - Strong understanding of IaC and PaC principles and tools (e.g., Terraform, Sentinel) - Experience in designing secure CI/CD pipelines and integrating security into SDLC - Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills - Certification in cloud security (e.g., GCP Professional Cloud Security Engineer, Azure Security Engineer) - Experience with security compliance standards (e.g., ISO 27001, SOC 2, GDPR) - Knowledge of containerization and orchestration technologies (Docker, Kubernetes) - Familiarity with enterprise governance models and secure software development practices Additional Information: - The candidate should have minimum 5 years of experience in security architecture, with a strong background in cloud-native and DevSecOps environments. - This position is based at our Hyderabad office. - A 15 years full time education is required.15 years full time educationAbout Accenture We work with one shared purpose: to deliver on the promise of technology and human ingenuity.
