Join us to make your contribution.AGCO is currently seeking a Dealers and Distributors Inventory Planner to join our Managed Dealer Inventory team.The Inventory Planner will play a key role in planning, managing, and optimizing inventory for dealer accounts. The major responsibilities include: Design a fit-for purpose forecasting and planning system for managing dealer inventory. Develop individual planning parameterization with each dealer to best meet their customer service and inventory budget targets. Generate and review a weekly proposed order for each dealer Obtain dealer feedback for continuing improvement of the order proposals through enhanced planning parameters and information on individual part numbers. Measure performance and give feedback to the dealers.Your Impact
  • Manage the forecasting and inventory planning for a selected list of MDI dealers
  • Review a list of system generated orders weekly for each managed dealer
  • Review forecasting, inventory planning, and replenishment planning alerts
  • Review and update planning parameters through on-going communication with all dealers and distributors to agree optimal planning parameters
  • Communicate with all dealers and distributors to obtain feedback on order proposals
  • Communicate with all dealers and distributors to improve data quality
  • Capable of handling challenging IT systems, file manipulation, and data integration
  • Assemble data, analyze performance, identify problems, and develop recommendations to support dealerships
  • Monitor key performance indicators and analyze performance data to increase effectiveness of supply chain and influence behavior
  • Show initiative, drive, and most importantly able to both maintain focus on the big picture while also demonstrating a commitment to details
Your Experience and Qualifications
  • Bachelor`s Degree in a numerate discipline or equivalent work experience.
  • Minimum 8+years experience in analysis, planning or supply chain environment.
  • Theoretical knowledge of forecasting and inventory planning techniques
  • Must be comfortable in working with large amounts of numerical data
  • Proven ability to work without close supervision
  • Strong interpersonal skills to create good working relationships with our dealers - Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in English
  • Ability to plan, prioritize, and complete work with speed and accuracy within established time frames
  • Flexibility and adaptability but also happy to have a high proportion of the role following a fixed weekly/monthly set of tasks.
  • Detailed knowledge of forecasting and inventory planning techniques
  • Mathematical and statistical analysis experience
  • Creation, cleansing, manipulation and analysis of large datasets
  • Standard KPIs for the list of managed dealers defined in the MDI tool
  • All lists managed on-time according to the weekly schedule, with a high level of compliancy and an increasing Dealers orders coverage
  • Dealer satisfaction and engagement
