In this role you will be reporting to Senior Engineering Manager and will be responsible for acting as a design authority for an engineering discipline with low to medium complexity. Completing assignments on small projects or portions of larger projects in a cost-effective manner and in accordance with contract specifications, quality standards, safety requirements and cybersecurity policies and standards.Your responsibilities

Evaluating, selecting and applying standard techniques and procedures to perform engineering assignments
Providing technical support for testing, installation and commissioning activities
Preparing project documentation within one’s scope of deliverables
Starting up and commissioning, troubleshooting of system and technical support
Focusing and leading standardization activities to enhance productivity of engineering
Implementing of reusable solutions, quality deliverables and accountability for on time delivery

Your background

Bachelor of Technology or diploma in engineering in control and instrumentation or equivalent
Require 2 to 7 years of experience in configuration, integration, and implementation of process control solutions for chemical and specialty chemical segments
Good knowledge in automation(electrical or process automation) products like PLC, Scada and DCS with focus on providing packaged solutions
Industrial automation experience from similar companies as ABB, end-customers and ability to design and deliver automation solutions by being part of the team or as an individual contributor
Proven knowledge of software and hardware design, commissioning and test experience with any of the DCS
A collaborative, solution-focused approach and strong written and spoken communication skills
