Job SummaryWe are hiring an Electronic Hardware Design Engineer with experience in power electronics and EV applications. The role involves design, testing, validation, and debugging of hardware systems related to E-Powertrain components such as DC-DC converters and onboard chargers.Education:Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electronics, Electrical & Electronics, E&TC, or related engineering fieldKey Responsibilities- Design and develop DC-DC converters, onboard charger (OBC) systems, gate-driver circuits, and protection/sensing circuits- Perform hardware testing and validation at board, subsystem, and system levels- Execute electrical, thermal, functional, and endurance validation as part of DVP activities- Support power-stage bring-up, debugging, and root-cause analysis- Assist in EMI/EMC pre-compliance activities- Conduct PCB design reviews and support component selection- Collaborate with firmware, validation, and manufacturing teams to ensure production readinessRequired Technical Skills- Strong understanding of power electronics topologies and components- Experience with DC-DC converters, OBC systems, and gate drivers- Hands-on experience using oscilloscopes, power analyzers, electronic loads, LCR meters, and similar lab equipment- Experience with circuit simulation tools such as LTspice, MATLAB/Simulink, or PSIM- Exposure to PCB design or review using tools like Altium, Eagle, or equivalent- Knowledge of EMI/EMC principles and DFMEA- Understanding of robust PCB layout practicesPreferred Experience- Experience in EV or automotive power electronics domain- Experience in benchmarking hardware and validating protection behaviorSoft Skills- Strong communication and documentation skills- Ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams- Problem-solving mindset with hands-on approach to testing and debugging
