- Identify and develop new business opportunities for test and measuring instruments across target industries (e.g., Electronics, Automotive, Aerospace and Defence , R&D, Manufacturing, Telecom, Power, etc.).
- Achieve or exceed annual sales targets and market share objectives.
- Conduct product presentations, demonstrations, and technical discussions with prospective clients.
- Prepare and deliver compelling proposals, quotations, and commercial offers.
- Manage and grow existing customer accounts by understanding their needs and providing tailored solutions.
- Develop strong, long-term relationships with decision-makers and influencers within customer organizations.
- Monitor competitor activity and market trends to maintain a competitive edge.
- Provide in-depth technical consultation on product selection, applications, and integration.
- Collaborate with the technical support team to resolve complex customer issues.
- Conduct on-site visits for technical demonstrations, application support, and after-sales follow-up.
- Develop and execute sales plans and territory strategies in alignment with company goals.
- Maintain an accurate sales pipeline and provide regular updates to management.
- Participate in trade shows, industry events, and technical seminars to promote products and brand awareness.
- Bachelor’s degree in Electronics / E&C / E&E / Instrumentation Engineering.
- Additional certifications in sales, marketing are an advantage.
- 3–10 years of proven sales experience in test and measuring instruments (Oscilloscopes, Spectrum Analysers, Signal Generators, Network Analysers, DMM’s, DAQ’s etc.).
- Strong network and experience dealing with industrial, research, and government clients.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Strong technical understanding of measurement technologies and applications.
- Proficiency in CRM tools and MS Office. Good presentation and communication skills is a must, with advanced knowledge of MS Excel, Word and Power Point is an added advantage.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Willingness to travel extensively within assigned territory.
