Role Summary:The Associate Tower Lead – Quit Claims (P2P) will be responsible for overseeingthe Vendor Reconciliation process, sub-tower within the Procure-to-Pay function.This role will lead end-to-end operations for vendor dispute resolution, agedpayables clearance, and financial risk mitigation. Operating in a complex, fast-pacede-commerce environment, the ATL will drive operational governance, team capability,stakeholder engagement, and process transformation to ensure integrity of payablesand strengthen vendor trust. Internally the role is titled as Associate Tower Lead(Quit Claims)Key Responsibilities:Operations & Service DeliveryLead and manage day-to-day Vendor reconciliation operations, ensuringtimely resolution of vendor claims, aged liabilities, and unmatched entries.Lead analysis of open transactions such as GRIR, aged payables, debitbalances, credit memos, and unmatched invoices for quicker reconciliationand resolution with the vendors.The role involves diligently working and in collaboration with other verticals ofPurchase to Pay such as Invoice Processing, Key Account Management,Vendor Experience etc and the Business teams.Drive productivity, SLAs, and KPIs across the Vendor reconciliation process.Drive regular reconciliations and proactive closure of vendor reconciliationthrough structured negotiations and settlements.The role will be responsible for leading and guiding the team for thedeliverables.Stakeholder & Vendor ManagementAct as a key liaison with business units, procurement, sourcing, and AP teamsto eliminate root causes of disputes.Partner with vendors and internal teams to drive transparent, efficient, and fairsettlement of claims.Manage escalations with maturity and solution orientation, ensuring timelyand professional resolution.Governance & ComplianceImplement and oversee governance frameworks for vendor reconciliationprocess handling, documentation, and audit readiness.Ensure process adherence to accounting standards, internal controls, andSOX requirements.Support audit requirements and ensure consistent policy interpretation acrossall geographies.People LeadershipLead, mentor, and develop a team of specialists, analysts, and seniorassociates across the vendor reconciliation team.Build a high-performing, collaborative team culture focused on ownership,accountability, and customer orientation.Ensure team readiness through structured training programs and knowledgetransfer.Reporting & TransformationOwn dashboards, trackers, and analytics related to open items, TATs, anddispute trends.Partner with transformation, digital, and product teams for automation andsystemic enhancements in reconciliation and dispute closure.Identify recurring claim themes and recommend upstream fixes to reducerepeat disputes.RequirementsQualifications & Experience:MBA (Finance) / CA Inter / B.Com with strong experience in P2P/APoperations15-20 years of relevant experience, with at least 3–5 years in a leadershiprole managing vendor reconciliations, dispute resolution, or quit claims in ashared services environmentStrong understanding of retail and/or e-commerce vendor ecosystems,contracts, and transactional complexityExperience in ERPs relevant AP automation tools, dispute automation toolsKey Competencies:Strong command over P2P processes, accounting principles, and payablesgovernanceVendor management, negotiation skills and communication skillsAnalytical thinking and structured problem-solving capabilityEffective communication, influencing, and cross-functional collaborationPeople management with a focus on coaching, development, andperformance Experience in handling team sizes of ten and above.Expertise in vendor reconciliation and vendor dispute resolutionAnalytical mindset with ability to deep dive and drive closure; ability to connectdata sets and recommend action cum solutionsCareer Path:Progression to P2P Tower Lead or cross-tower functional leadership roles inFinance Operations or Business Process Excellence
