
Firmware Engineering (High Tech) - Senior Professional

- Design, develop, and maintain embedded firmware using Embedded C.
- Work with Linux-based embedded systems and RTOS environments like FreeRTOS.
- Participate in all phases of the software development life cycle: requirements, design, implementation, testing, and maintenance.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including hardware, software, and systems engineering.
- Debug and optimize firmware for performance, reliability, and safety.
- Document design specifications, code, and test procedures.
- 5+ years of experience in embedded firmware development.
- Proficiency in Embedded C programming.
- Strong experience with Linux and FreeRTOS in embedded environments.
- Solid understanding of the embedded development life cycle and best practices.
- Experience with debugging tools, oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, and version control systems (e.g., Git).
- Experience working on motor protection applications, Motor Control Unit, Feeder relays.
- Knowledge of functional safety standards.
- Exposure to cybersecurity in embedded systems (e.g., secure boot, encryption, secure communication).
- Familiarity with communication protocols like CAN, SPI, I2C, UART.
