- Serve as the initial point of quality control by analyzing brand-related content with attention to both timeliness and accuracy. Review all materials to recommend necessary adjustments, ensuring that all content adheres strictly to established brand guidelines.
- Monitor ongoing brand activities to confirm compliance with contractual obligations. Oversee product certifications and required testing, verifying that all brand-related products and communications meet specified standards and regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with Brand teams to manage the product development process, ensuring timely execution and adherence to milestones.
- Ensure that all products deliver a consistent quality level across categories and support the brand positioning of Newell's core products.
- Communicate Newell brand strategies, guidelines, and product/marketing initiatives to licensees to ensure alignment on brand activities and provide resources for their sales and marketing presentations to retailers.
- Provide weekly updates on each activity and relevant topics to management and stakeholders.
- Develop a thorough understanding of Newell's vision, brand standards, positioning, design language, and product lines.
- Build knowledge of key markets, and product categories..
- Ensure compliance with brand standards and alignment with strategic business objectives across all products and communications.
- Act as a champion and advocate for brand partnerships throughout the organization.
- Manage day-to-day responsibilities, including product approvals, in a manner consistent with overall brand positioning and guidelines.
- Bachelor's degree in marketing, Business, or a related field preferred.
- 1-3 years of experience in brand management, licensing, or a related area.
- Strong understanding of brand strategy, marketing communications, and product development processes.
- Excellent organizational and project management skills with attention to detail and follow-through.
- Proficient with digital management/compliance tools (e.g., Royalty Zone) and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong communication, collaboration, and relationship-building skills.
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
