Ltd. has its presence in Pune, Mumbai, Bangalore, DelhiJob Summary:As a QA Automation Engineer, you will work closely with product/development teams. Understand functional testing scenarios and identify automation needs. Come up with an automation plan, design the test cases and write the same. Automation script readiness till CI. Become a contributor in making functional / manual testing efficient and faster.Responsibilities:

Develop and maintain automation test scripts

Collaborate with product, development and QA teams to identify and prioritize test cases for automation.

Design and implement automated test scripts using various tools and technologies

Manage and maintain automation test environments and infrastructure.

Analyze and report on test results and provide recommendations for improvement

Continuously evaluate and improve automation testing processes and tools.

Stay up-to-date with emerging trends and technologies in automation testing.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills to coordinate efficiently with dev,

QA teams and bridge the communication gaps

Willingness to share relevant technical, process and/or industry knowledge and expertise to other resources

Ability to persuade and influence others on the best approach to take

Resourceful and proactive in gathering information and sharing ideas.

Experience of working in an Agile environment is a plus.

Maintain QA documentation. Make sure proper SDLC processes are followed and documents are up to date such as Test Cases, Test Closures, Release Documents, Security reports etc.

Requirements:

Require a minimum of 3-5 years of hands-on experience.

The ideal candidate should have automation skills like Postman API automation, Selenium with Python or Java. Understands CI/CD, Jenkins, AWS awareness.

Awareness of automation testing tools such as Playwright, any other open source.

Good experience with API testing, web applications, mobile apps. Mobile Operating Systems (iOS, Android) and Mobile View.

Functional understanding of test cases, products developed, is a must.

Knowledge of Software Quality Assurance process and audits.

Git / Bitbucket as a source code maintenance.

Database, security, performance understanding.

Even though the role is of an automation engineer, getting functional test case understanding is a must.
