System Eng Asst Manager for Electric Power and Controls:Key Responsibilities Include:· Lead the system engineering function with 10+ people to deliver the Aerospace Engines and Power systems (E&PS) Electric Power and Controls products (Generator/Motor Controls, Micro Vapor Cycle System (mVCS) Motor Controls, Electric Engine Controls, Connected Systems and Electronic Engine Controllers).· Lead the requirement development, system testing, value engineering, system modelling, and building continuous improvement culture driving reduction in cycle time (Agile Mindset, New Product Development) and cost (remove waste, standardize practices) with highest quality.· Build and retain talent in the core system engineering and emerging areas (Electrification, UAM, Sustainability, Smart Connected) and drive strategic infrastructure Investments (CapEx, OpEx).· Support Management and Technical Resource Reviews (MRR/TRR) and Honeywell Performance and Development (HPD) activities.· Ability to remove any roadblocks and interdependencies in executing in product development by interacting with other functions.· Build culture of driving business driven innovation to create a strong pipeline of market & customer backed and technology forward offering pipeline focusing on core and emerging areas of Urban Air Mobility, General Aviation and Electrification. Actively work with cross functional teams (strategy, marketing, offering management) in front end innovation process (opportunity pipeline, prioritization) resulting in Breakthrough Ideas (BTI) and New NPIsHTSEATMARHTSEATSRADVYOU MUST HAVE:· Bachelor's / master's degree in Electronics, Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering. Master's degree is a plus.· Minimum of 10 years of systems engineering experience in support of Aerospace systems developmentWE VALUE:· People management experience.· Experience working within Honeywell's Aerospace system development processes.· Demonstrated advanced level system knowledge in minimum of one area (Electric Power, Engines Control, Air Cycle Environmental Control System (ECS), Vapor Cycle System, or Fuel tank Inserting)· Self-motivated, Strategic Thinking and able to work with little supervision, consistently take the initiative to get things done.· Demonstrate Innovative, creative, proactive and outside the box thinking.Additional Information
