Job Description This role is responsible for executing the implementation of Asset Care/Manufacturing Excellence strategy and specific projects aligned with the USL Performance Ambition that focuses on improving operations discipline and standardization of manufacturing processes. The outcome required is to drive an Asset Care culture that measurably optimizes machine performance, improves the efficiency of processes and reduce manufacturing costs. Qualification: Mechanical or Industrial Engineering degree Experience: 10+ years of hands-on applicable experience 7+ years of Direct Consumer Goods manufacturing production/maintenance experience Knowledge & skills: Demonstrated understanding and experience with Manufacturing Excellence principles Strong focus on Asset Care as well as 5S, TQM, and TPM Excellent planning and execution skills Best suited for someone who Attention to detail Ability to abide by professional standards and SOPs Adopts safe systems and practices MIS And KPI Analytics Manage the entire MIS and score card of manufacturing operations Manage the processes to ensure meeting of the KPIs against unit level performance targets Demonstrate the analytics of the KPIs and insights to develop ac Demonstrate rigor in implementation and execution of Global ManEx processes and standards Implement effective Asset Care processes resulting in a reduction of machine downtime, product quality reliability, and sustained improvement of site facilities conditions and improved unit staff related capabilities Process Excellence Drive and execute initiatives for auditable improvement in employee technical capabilities and understanding of required processes Measure and create positive impact on site Health & Safety performance, LTA & TRA rates Improve cost and quality performance of sites, Cost/case & Cases/Man Day, OEE, PPM Defects enabled by an effective Asset Care program implementation Diversity statement Celebrating our inclusive and diverse culture is core to Diageo's purpose of 'celebrating life every day everywhere'.
