Develops, and continuously improves Production and sub-contracting processes, based on industry best practices. Ensures set revenue business targets are achieved within time frame.How you’ll make an impact
  • Planning Day to day production schedules as per Order backlog and Book-to-Bill orders. Daily discussion with sub-vendors and monitor production schedules as per plan. Interact with cross functional teams for production concerns and action plans.
  • Ensuring adherence to the quality standards and implementation of various stages of production process flow and process improvement. Follow process and system to meet global customers along with cost quality and delivery. Efficient vendor management to ensure smooth flow of production activity at vendor places. Optimize sub-contracting activities and monitor material status as per forecast.
  • Providing weekly production plans to sub vendors as per OBL plan and Monitoring reconciliation of sub vendor materials. Rejection material handling and review with quality and SCM team. Development and streamlining of system to enhance operational effectiveness and improvement.
  • Supplier (On-Time Delivery) OTD, (Non-Conformance Report) NCR and (First Pass Yield) FPY are reviewed on monthly basis and actions to be taken for continuous improvement.
  • To follow HSE practices as part of work culture and SOT/Hazards targets are achieved within timelines.
  • Responsible to ensure compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures, and guidelines.

Your background
  • BE in Mechanical / Electrical Engineering with 5 to 7 years relevant experience.
  • Problem solving methods and technics using Lean Six Sigma tools.
  • Familiar with Production process, planning and productivity improvement technics.
  • Familiar with ERP system (preferably MM module) and Microsoft Office packages.
  • Familiar with resource optimization, 5s, Kaizen, EHS and lean manufacturing.
  • Familiar with Sub-contracting process.
  • Language proficiency: English, local language.
  • Proficiency in both spoken & written English language is required.
