Reviews system requirements and business processes; codes, tests, debugs, documents and implements software solutions. Provides application software development services typically in a defined project. Develops program logic for new applications or analyzes and modifies logic in existing applications. Ensures that system improvements are successfully implemented. May test new software code and typically works in a highly efficient ("Agile") development environment.-Applies a theoretical knowledge-base to work to achieves goals through own work

-May provide guidance to others as a project manager using technical expertise-Requires specialized depth and/or breadth of expertise
