DTCC offers a flexible/hybrid model of 3 days onsite and 2 days remote (onsite Tuesdays, Wednesdays and a third day unique to each team or employee). The impact you will have in this role : Containers as a Service (CaaS) provides DTCC Businesses with innovative and reliable infrastructure services, leveraging the global and diverse expertise of our workforce to reduce risk and improve the efficiency, performance, stability, security, and quality of our platforms. This role will primarily focus on administering and supporting Kubernetes/OpenShift Container Platform ecosystems for the organization in both AWS public cloud and on premise. This includes managing container tenant provisioning, isolation, and capacity. This role will work directly with infrastructure as code-based automation to manage the capacity of the overall platform and deliver new capacity and capabilities as necessary Your Primary Responsibilities : Support the corporate Enterprise Container Strategy. Support the container platform ecosystem (installation, upgrade, patching, monitoring). Independently installs, customizes, and integrates commercial software packages. Cluster capacity management and provisioning through automation of underlying hosts Provide L2 engineering support. Work with experienced team members to conduct root cause analysis of issues, review new and existing code and/or perform unit testing. Identify ideas to improve system performance and impact availability. Create system documentation/playbook(s). Partner with experienced team members to develop accurate work estimates on work packages. May assist team members with the delegation of work packages. Align risk and control processes into day-to-day responsibilities to monitor and mitigate risk; escalates appropriately. Talents Needed for Success: 4 - 5 years of experience Experience with the Kubernetes/RedHat OpenShift Container Platform. Expertise in RedHat Linux administration. Experience in automation development (scripting exp: python, Bash) Expertise working with Docker or similar container technologies. Experience with CI/CD pipelines and configuration management tools (Ansible, Puppet, and Chef). Experience delivering infrastructure as code using CI/CD practices. Experience working with infrastructure as code technologies such as Terraform. Stays current on changes in his/her own specialist area and seeks out learning opportunities to ensure knowledge is up-to-date.
