Convert the concept design to Manufacturing data. Conduct and record design review meeting. Generate Bill of Material based on finalised design Follow industry standard and best practices in mould design. Assist team in finalising the design and concept. Use standard elements in design to minimise lead time. Update and maintain related documents. PG. Diploma or Diploma or equivalent in Plastic mould design from NTTF, CIPET. Should have minimum 3 Years hand on experience in NX & AutoCAD Software. Should have Thorough knowledge in all types of moulds, Die casting dies, Jigs and Fixtures. Thorough knowledge on available standards and how to use them. Thorough Knowledge on Hot Runner systems and their integration in to mould design. Adequate knowledge in on all types of Machining Process, Plastic resin, Steels & Hot runner system is appreciable Hands on experience in Manufacturing & Assembly is added advantage. Experience from Automotive, Packaging, Consumer Electronics, Aerospace domain are prefered.
