- Plan and forecast requirements for implants, instruments, raw materials, and consumables in line with production and sales demand.
- Develop short-term and long-term material requirement plans based on business forecasts and capacity.
- Monitor demand variations and take proactive actions to mitigate shortages or excess inventory.
- Source materials, equipment, and services as per approved vendors and cost targets.
- Generate Purchase Requisitions (PRs) and coordinate with procurement for timely Purchase Order (PO) release.
- Engage with suppliers for delivery schedules, quality adherence, and issue resolution.
- Support cost optimization and vendor performance evaluation.
- Collaborate with Sales and Marketing teams to align demand forecasts with supply capabilities.
- Participate in S&OP cycles to balance service levels, inventory, and operational efficiency.
- Provide inputs on material availability, lead times, and supply constraints.
- Monitor inventory levels to ensure optimal stock availability while minimizing obsolete and slow-moving inventory.
- Manage warehouse inventory allocation based on regional or customer requirements.
- Ensure accurate inventory records, reconciliation, and cycle counts.
- Manage inbound and outbound logistics activities to ensure timely movement of materials and finished goods.
- Coordinate with transporters and logistics partners to meet service and cost objectives.
- Handle CFA (Carrying & Forwarding Agent) coordination, performance tracking, and compliance.
- Ensure adherence to company SOPs, quality standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Maintain documentation related to procurement, inventory, and logistics.
- Support audits and ensure compliance with internal controls and supply chain governance.
- Work closely with Production, Quality, Sales, Marketing, Finance, and Procurement teams.
- Coordinate with external stakeholders including vendors, logistics partners, and CFAs.
- Graduate / Postgraduate in Supply Chain Management, Operations, Engineering, or related field
- 5 to 7 years of experience in supply chain, planning, or procurement (manufacturing / medical devices preferred)
- Strong understanding of S&OP, inventory planning, and warehouse operations
