
Lab Technician

- Monitor, maintain, and troubleshoot servers, networks, and end-user systems.
- Provide Level 1 and 2 support for IT hardware (desktops, laptops, printers, networking devices).
- Assist in installation, configuration, and updates of OS (Windows/Linux), enterprise applications, and patch management.
- Coordinate with central IT team for backup, security compliance, user access management, and issue escalations.
- Document incidents, resolutions, asset inventory, and support procedures.
- Support audio-visual systems and VC setups for meetings and presentations.
- Participate in scheduled audits, system health checks, and preventive maintenance tasks.
- Track helpdesk tickets using ITSM tools (ServiceNow or similar) and ensure SLA compliance.
- Proficiency in Windows desktop and server environments.
- Knowledge of networking fundamentals (LAN/WAN, IP addressing, DNS, DHCP).
- Basic experience with Active Directory, user provisioning, and system access.
- Hands-on skills in troubleshooting hardware, operating systems, and connectivity issues.
- Familiarity with endpoint security tools, backup utilities, and asset tracking.
- Good communication, documentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Exposure to Linux-based systems and virtualization (VMware, Hyper-V).
- Experience using ITSM platforms (ServiceNow, JIRA).
- Awareness of cloud platforms (Azure, AWS) and ITIL practices.
- Basic scripting knowledge (PowerShell, Bash) is a plus.
- Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- 7+ years of relevant IT support and infrastructure experience.
