Maintenance Planning Engineer-Surface Protection

- Collaborate with Operations, Engineering, and Contractors to define and develop scopes for surface protection maintenance tasks.
- Conduct offshore and on-site surveys to assess job requirements (materials, tools, manpower, equipment).
- Prepare detailed job plans and work packs for maintenance execution, including risk assessment and permit identification.
- Use SAP-PM and FIORI to plan and schedule maintenance work orders, maintaining a prioritized backlog.
- Review and update work order data fields (e.g., function location, target dates, priorities) based on stakeholder input.
- Coordinate with field engineers and execution leads to address technical challenges such as corrosion, defects, and structural deterioration.
- Support workforce mobilization and offshore execution in collaboration with Execution Leads.
- Analyze execution feedback to improve planning quality and execution readiness.
- Forecast budgets, labor, and resource requirements to support upcoming maintenance programs.
- Ensure compliance with industry codes, standards, and safety procedures.
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- 5+ years of proven experience in maintenance planning for surface protection activities.
- Strong knowledge of coating systems, insulation, passive fire protection, and corrosion prevention.
- Hands-on experience with SAP-PM, FIORI, and other CMMS tools.
- Ability to estimate material and manpower needs, track execution progress, and control costs.
- Familiarity with relevant industry standards and best practices (e.g., NACE, ISO).
- Excellent communication and coordination skills to work with cross-functional teams and offshore crews.
