Structure Technology Pilot Plant_Jhagadia Job posted on Mar 02, 2024 Employee Type Full Time Experience range (Years) 7 years - 20 years Job Description Job Role Plant Manager Span Division Function Manufacturing Job Family Manager Reporting to (position) Division Head Direct Reportees Incharge/Executive Job Context Job Purpose Responsible for optimizing plant production to meet the customer requirements by strategizing & planning production activities Job Dimension Job Responsibilities Carry out Root Cause Analysis of breakdowns & major deviations and make necessary corrections by reviewing process safety to achieve Zero Accidents & Zero Breakdown goal and conduct risk assessment for process and operation with Safety & process team Comply with legal and statutory compliance requirement of State Pollution Control Board & Factory Act Ensure the availability of raw materials/finished goods by maintaining the necessary communication with other in-house divisions, dispatch/marketing departments Modify existing SOPs(Standard Operating Procedure) in case of change and abide by MOC(Management of Change) guidelines and add value by taking initiatives to continuously improve the process Optimize/maximize utilization of plants and utilities to meet and exceed the volumes, quality and cost effectiveness Prepare monthly material statement (MMS) to give an update of stock data, review, last month production, WIP - work in process material, Yield Report - finished good & in-process Prepare Plant reporting document for detailed update on production, yield (checking yield report), any deviations while plant rounds, review log sheets, and take necessary corrective actions Coordinate with the respective functions internally to define and determine monthly pilot trials Ensure availability of raw materials by coordinating with respective divisions / plants Ensure optimum capacity utilization to achieve the production targets Ensure adequate packing and storage of RM and FG is available Conduct Tool box talk on a regular basis to discuss the scope of work and deviations & findings of previous day work Prepare and maintain relevant records and produce them at the time of internal / external audits, ensure that all the actionable points/recommendations from all audits, inspections, safety rounds are completed within the defined time frame Verify SAP production entries and analyze daily plant performance report Handle & resolve customer complaints for any deviation in finished goods specifications Manage the waste disposal as per statutory environmental compliance Ensure availability of equipments and machinery of plants for preventive maintenance Give permit extension and review when required Conduct Job Safety Analysis (JSA), monitor any deviation and take corrective measures to curtail risks Report any defective equipments or material in the plant or respective section, to the maintenance and division head and follow instructions for corrective measures or emergency shutdown Monitor deviations by verifying the process parameters to ensure smooth operation and improve batch processes, quality & yield Lead and drive continuous improvement of the pilot trial process to improve quality, quantity, efficiency and yield Report any required changes in SOP / field equipments / instrumentations etc to division head Participate and provide inputs in PSSR(Pre Startup Safety Review), HAZOP, HIRA Maintain & enforce excellent standards of housekeeping Handle on-site emergency in an efficient manner Identify, minimize and resolve the unsafe condition, major risks by taking corrective action Inculcate 'Safety First attitude' in everyone in the department and provide guidance to contract workman for Safety procedure & hazards Identify the OHS (occupational Health & Safety) hazards and environmental aspects for activities within the plant and carry out risk assessment of the same also, ensure that Contract workers in plant follow proper Safety procedures Coordinate & follow-up with department like maintenance, safety, process, instrumentation, electrical etc. to maintain the safety standards of all the operative machinery and environment Ensure the adherence to Zero Tolerance in Plant Internal & External Relationship Function Agency Purpose of function Frequency Nature of Relationship Maintenance To carry out regular maintenance of Plant equipments & machineries Weekly Basic/Advanced/Strategic Materials To coordinate for the availability of raw material as well as finished goods Daily Basic/Advanced/Strategic Electrical & Instrumentation To ensure the required installation of instruments & availability of Power Supply Weekly Basic/Advanced/Strategic Marketing To get the customer requirements as per specification, quality & quantity Daily Basic/Advanced/Strategic Job Position Pillar Manufacturing Vertical Operations Group Division Team Job specification Experience 8-12 Years Qualification B.Tech or Equivalent Certifications/Trainings Competencies Behavioural Functional
