Apply technical expertise and structured problem-solving to projects of moderate scope
Drive a workstream or project across one or more infrastructure engineering technologies
Partner with other platforms to architect and implement changes to resolve issues and modernize processes
Design, develop, and troubleshoot solutions for problems of moderate complexity
Assess upstream/downstream system and data impacts and advise on mitigation actions

Support a 24/7 operational model and handle P1 and P2 incidents using innovative troubleshooting approaches

Be accountable for making significant decisions for a project consisting of multiple technologies and applications
Adds to team culture of diversity, opportunity, inclusion, and respect

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

Formal training or certification in infrastructure engineering concepts with 3+ years of applied experience
Deep knowledge in one or more infrastructure engineering domains (hardware, networking, databases, storage, deployment, integration, automation, scaling, resilience, performance)
Demonstrated troubleshooting experience across infrastructure platforms with hands-on database and Linux administration skills
Strong knowledge of Linux, Kubernetes, AWS, Terraform, Splunk, Grafana, Datadog, Cassandra, Oracle, CockroachDB, and networking
Deep expertise in one specific infrastructure technology plus scripting skills (e.g., Python)
Motivation to continuously build technical and cross-functional knowledge beyond the product
Deep knowledge of cloud infrastructure and the ability to operate in and migrate across public and private clouds
Experience identifying and resolving public cloud issues and driving service improvement plans
