- Lead and manage the QA team, including hiring, training, mentoring, and performance evaluation.
- Develop and implement QA strategies, policies, procedures, and standards to ensure consistency and effectiveness in testing processes.
- Define and enforce quality metrics and KPIs to measure the performance and effectiveness of the QA team.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Development, Product Management, Customer Success and Product Ops, to ensure alignment on quality goals and objectives.
- Oversee the planning, design, execution, and reporting of manual and automated test cases across multiple projects.
- Drive the adoption and implementation of test automation frameworks and tools to increase testing efficiency and coverage.
- Manage the selection, configuration, and maintenance of testing tools and infrastructure.
- Conduct regular reviews and audits of QA processes and practices to identify areas for improvement and optimization.
- Plan, design, and execute load and performance testing strategies to ensure the scalability and reliability of our software products.
- Proactively identify and mitigate risks related to software quality, ensuring timely resolution of issues.
- Stay updated on industry best practices, emerging trends, and technologies in Quality Assurance and incorporate them into our processes and methodologies.
- Serve as a subject matter expert on QA-related matters, providing guidance, support, and training to team members and stakeholders.
- Act as a point of contact for client inquiries and concerns related to product quality and testing processes.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in Quality Assurance, with at least 3 years in a managerial or leadership role.
- Strong knowledge of software testing methodologies, tools, and best practices.
- Experience in both manual and automated testing, with proficiency in Selenium.
- Experience in load and performance testing methodologies and tools such as JMeter, LoadRunner, or similar is preferred.
- Solid understanding of Agile and DevOps methodologies and their application to QA processes.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and inspire teams.
- Proven track record of successfully managing QA teams and delivering high-quality software products.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with keen attention to detail.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
