Join our dynamic team and make your mark on the payments technology landscape of tomorrow.Summary of This RoleInstall, configure, maintain, support, and secure the organization's network communications, including LANs and/or WANs. Identifies network problems, isolates root causes, and initiates corrective action. Determines priority of action and additional resources required, based on severity of service interruption. Provides technical analysis to all customers to isolate issues and develop strategies to restore or activate services. Interacts with Telecommunication Engineers, LAN Administrators, and transmission and RF staff regarding ongoing network activities. Ascertains compliance with security, safety, and environmental guidelines. Generates reports on network performance, trouble-shooting results, and routine maintenance of network elements. This role requires individuals to work within the demands a global 24x7 High availability transaction oriented network. Ability to translate business requirements into network requirements and collaboratively work with other technical teams to deliver an overall solution.What Part Will You Play?

Assists with intermediate level Network problem solving solutions within the Global Payments Network
Administers established Network project and issue resolution tasks
Participates in the execution of intermediate design plans/scripts with attention to detail
Provides timely updates to project managers and customers on the status of implementations and requests as needed
Generates intermediate level reports on network performance, trouble-shooting results, and routine maintenance of network elements

What Are We Looking For in This Role?Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree
Relevant Experience or Degree in: No degree specified
Typically Minimum 2 Years Relevant Exp
2-4 years of enterprise networking experience and/or a Bachelor's Degree

Preferred Qualifications

Appropriate advanced industry network certifications are preferred.

Job Complexity - Works on assignments that are routine to moderately difficult, requiring some decision in resolving issues or in making recommendations.

Dynamic Routing - Configure industry standard dynamic routing protocols including but not limited to BGP and OSPF.
WAN Optimization and QoS - WAN optimization and QoS on global MPLS network carrying voice and data.
Load Balancing - Global DNS load balancing and local application load balancing.
