When you start the application process you will be presented with a drop down menu showing all countries, Please ensure that you select a country where the role is based.The main objective of this role is to actively participate in Treasury innovation and digitalisation programme, through creating and embedding in-house solutions for stakeholders globally. Our goal is to support business in top-level decision-making process by providing scalable and integrated platform with advanced forecasting and analytical capabilities.The role is a part of Modelling & Forecasting Solutions Team which develops and maintains P&L forecasting models that offer forward-looking insights, enabling the business and Treasury to optimize returns and manage risks effectively under various scenario settings.We are looking for talented individuals who can integrate business knowledge and technical skills to drive optimal analytical / forecasting solutions for the bank. This position is ideal for a candidate with a strong analytical and programming skills who is interested in financial modelling. The successful candidate will actively participate in developing and transitioning forecasting models into strategic solutions that support the bank's Treasury decisions.Key Responsibilities
  • Build prototypes and tactical models using Excel or Python, considering the balance between accuracy and model performance.
  • Collaborate with senior team members to ensure models are aligned with business requirements.
  • Gather and evaluate user requirements.
  • Development, testing and maintenance of P&L forecasting models.
  • Document model assumptions and methodologies.
  • Conduct data analysis to support model development and validation.
  • Provide support, analysis, walkthroughs, and explanations to the users and stakeholders.
  • Participate in the migration of models into strategic platforms and solutions.
  • Process automation and optimization.
Skills and ExperienceRequirements (must have)
  • 3+ years of experience in Banking (Treasury, ALM, Risk Management or similar).
  • Degree in Quantitative Finance, Economics, Mathematics, or related field.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication in English.
  • Good knowledge of financial instruments and banking products.
  • Very good understanding of financial modelling and forecasting principles.
  • Strong Excel/VBA and Python programming skills.
  • Very good analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
Advabtage (good to have)
  • Experience in software development projects would be an asset.
  • Willingness to learn and get up to speed quickly.
