Job Type: Full-timeExperience: 4-10 YearsLocation: [Coimbatore / Hybrid Weekly Two days office]About the Role:We are seeking a highly skilled and meticulous Senior Manual QA Testing Engineer to join our growing QA team. As a senior member, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our web applications through comprehensive manual testing practices. Youll collaborate closely with cross-functional teamsincluding developers, product managers, and automation engineersin a fast-paced Agile environment to identify and resolve issues early in the development lifecycle.Key Responsibilities:

Design, author, and maintain comprehensive test cases, test plans, and test scenarios based on functional requirements, user stories, and technical specifications.
Execute manual test cases for functional, regression, UI, smoke, and exploratory testing of web applications.
Collaborate with developers, product managers, and automation teams to validate new features and ensure test coverage.
Analyze test results and document defects clearly using bug tracking tools such as Jira.
Perform root cause analysis and work with developers to triage and verify fixes.
Participate in Agile ceremonies (daily standups, sprint planning, retrospectives) and contribute to continuous testing improvement.
Provide mentoring and guidance to junior QA team members when needed.
Ensure thorough documentation of testing artifacts and contribute to knowledge base creation

Required Skills & Qualifications:

Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
5+ years of experience in manual web application testing.
Strong understanding of SDLC, STLC, testing methodologies, and QA best practices.
Experience with writing and executing test plans, test cases, and test reports.
Solid knowledge of web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, HTTP) and browser developer tools.
Hands-on experience with test management tools such as TestRail, Zephyr, or similar.
Proficiency in using bug tracking systems like Jira.
Experience with API testing using tools like Postman or SOAP UI.
Strong analytical, communication, and troubleshooting skills.
Detail-oriented mindset with a passion for quality.
