About Team: Managing the purchase strategy, developing, and implementing the operating system, and ensuring to develop the business solution to deliver business objectives. About the role: Call Center Procurement Specialist is responsible for managing the procurement processes specific to call center operations. This role involves liaising with vendors, negotiating contracts, and ensuring timely delivery of goods and services to support the efficiency and effectiveness of the call center. The specialist will collaborate closely with call center managers to understand their needs and optimize procurement strategies accordingly. Expectations/ Requirements: 1. Identify and evaluate potential vendors for call center equipment, software, supplies, and services. 2. Maintain relationships with existing vendors, ensuring quality and timely delivery of goods and services. 3. Negotiate contracts, terms, and pricing with vendors to secure favorable agreements for the call center. 4. Develop and implement procurement strategies tailored to the needs of the call center. 5. Analyze market trends and supplier performance to identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements. 6. Collaborate with call center managers to understand their requirements and align procurement activities accordingly. 7. Provide pro-active support in new source identification, assessment and evaluation as per strategic sourcing process (RFP/RFQ) followed by PO documentation and compliance. General and Task Management 1. Responsible for managing relationships and negotiating with key suppliers at a senior and strategic level. 2. Oversee team day-to-day operation and performance. 3. Forecast price and market trends to identify changes of balance in buyer supplier power Seek and partner with reliable vendors and suppliers. 4. Develop an overall vendor base which creates and sustains a competitive advantage utilizing global market exploitation, leveraging spends and leveraging technologies. 5. Develop, implement and maintain a supplier relationship and evaluation process to measure effective supplier performance and compliance. People Management 1. Provide leadership to departments under control. Coach, mentor and develop direct reports and manage a high performing team that delivers continuous improvement, added value and cost reductions. 2. Set department objectives and monitor ongoing progress and performance 3. Ensure strong communication between teams under leadership to facilitate exchange of information and to implement change and improvements. 4. Complete regular performance reviews, manage attendance, holidays, disciplinary issues, and procedures a appropriate. Relationship Management 1. Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to ensure optimal performance. 2. Work collaboratively, negotiate, and engage with key stakeholders to facilitate delivery and compliance with the purchasing strategy. 3. Recommend solutions without compromising quality or service while optimizing cost. 4. Contribute to new business initiatives and projects and review and communicate the impact on Procurement activities. Key Skills/Experience Required: 1. Minimum 6+ years of relevant experience developing and implementing procurement strategies tailored to the needs of the call center. 2. Proven leadership and management skills with the ability to optimize team performance and development. 3. Excellent relationship management skills with the ability to engage, negotiate, and manage key stakeholders and suppliers 4. Strong and confident negotiator with the ability to negotiate at all levels. 5. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and influencing skills. 6. Strong leadership skills and the ability to direct team according to company standards. 7. Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities. 8. Results-orientated with the ability to plan and deliver against project deadlines.
