Job DescriptionWe are seeking a reliable and friendly Cashier to join our team. The Cashier will be responsible for processing customer transactions efficiently and accurately, providing excellent customer service, and maintaining a clean and organized checkout area.ResponsibilitiesGreet customers warmly and ascertain their purchase needs.
Operate cash registers, scanners, and other checkout equipment.
Process cash, credit, or check transactions with customers.
Ensure that pricing and quantities are accurate.
Handle customer inquiries and resolve complaints promptly.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the checkout area.
Balance cash drawer at the beginning and end of shifts.
Assist with stocking shelves and inventory as needed.QualificationsHigh school diploma or equivalent preferred.
Previous experience as a cashier or in customer service is an advantage.
Basic math skills and ability to handle cash accurately.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
