1. Understanding /interpretation of drawing and specifications.
2. Conversant with all applicable standards / codes and sound knowledge of all relevant standards
codes (IS/ACI) related to civil work. ...3. Sound Knowledge and experience of various laboratory test and filed test ( like sieve analysis,
silt content, flakiness , compaction test, soil test pile load test etc) and witnessing of same at site
lab.
4. Sound knowledge of FQP/ITP , review and inspection/audit of implementation at site.
5. Knowledge of construction activities ( excavation/backfilling Formwork, reinforcement , inserts,
masonry work, finishing work , rigid and flexible pavement, soil testing, piling, structural work
etc) and required quality check
6. Ability of checking of different activities like reinforcement, embedded parts , formwork, soil
compaction test, masonry work at site to identify the deviation and its impact with respect to
drawing, specifications and codes.
7. Preparation of observation reports , quality deviations analysis, Root cause analysis
8. Aware about general safety at site
9. Stake holder management.
10. Understanding optimum utilisation, mobilisation and de-mobilisation of resources
11. Resource management at site
12. Ensuring vendor cash flow and resolving site issues.
13. Management information system.
14. Ensure productivity and timeline of completion of project.
Managerial and Technical Competencies
Wide-spread knowledge of latest construction technology
Sound knowledge of all applicable codes, various laboratory and field tests.
Sound knowledge of civil engineering
Daily Quality report preparation, maintaining monthly MIS & presentation.
