Connecting, importing, and redefining data from various sources like SQL Server, Excel, SharePoint, APIs, and cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, Google Cloud).
Developing, publishing, and maintaining interactive dashboards and reports using Power BI.
Implementing DAX queries and calculations to support analytical requirements.
Crafting and optimizing data models (e.g., snowflake schema) to improve performance

and scalability. * Ensuring data accuracy, integrity, and security across Power BI reports and datasets.

Supervising performance, solving issues, and maintaining Power BI reports.
Handling data gateways, scheduled refreshes, and Power BI service configurations.
Implementing security standard methodologies such as role-based access control (RBAC), row-level security (RLS), and object-level security (OLS).
Collaborating with product managers and architects to break down requirements and deliver high-quality solutions.

You'll win us over by:

6-8 years of software development experience, with at least 4+ years passionate about Power BI and scripting.
Microsoft Power BI certification (preferred).
Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.
Strong hands-on expertise with Power BI (Desktop and Service).
Proficiency in DAX, Power Query (M language), and SQL.
Experience in data modeling, ETL processes, and data warehousing.
Ability to work with APIs and flat files (CSV, JSON, XML).
Expertise in connecting to diverse data sources (on-premises and cloud).
Understanding of REST APIs and integration techniques.
Ability to build engaging, flexible, and interactive dashboards.
Solid grasp of data storytelling, layout standard methodologies, and user-centric design.
Good communication skills for working with non-technical team members.
Troubleshooting skills with a strong customer focus.
Hands-on experience with Power BI security frameworks, including RLS and OLS.
Experience with Azure Active Directory (AAD), role-based access controls, and data masking.
Knowledge of governance policies and compliance frameworks for Power BI.
