Job Description:["Knowedge of Testing Practices (TDD / ATDD)","Mobile Automation (Appium)","Android Studio / Android Dev"]Job TitleMobile QA Engineer – Android Automation (Appium) Job SummaryWe are seeking a skilled Mobile QA Engineer / Tester with strong knowledge of modern testing practices (TDD / ATDD) and hands-on experience in mobile automation using Appium. The role focuses on ensuring the quality of Android applications, collaborating closely with developers, and embedding testing early in the software development lifecycle. Key ResponsibilitiesMobile Application Testing (Android)
  • Perform functional, regression, integration, and exploratory testing of Android mobile applications.
  • Validate application behavior across different Android devices, OS versions, and screen sizes.
  • Collaborate with Android developers to understand app architecture and implementation details.
  • Test UI, usability, performance, and stability of mobile applications.
Mobile Automation (Appium)
  • Design, develop, and maintain mobile automation test scripts using Appium.
  • Build and enhance Android automation frameworks using Java or other supported languages.
  • Automate smoke, regression, and end-to-end test scenarios.
  • Integrate mobile automation suites into CI/CD pipelines.
Testing Practices (TDD / ATDD)
  • Apply Test-Driven Development (TDD) and Acceptance Test-Driven Development (ATDD) principles.
  • Collaborate with developers and product owners to define acceptance criteria and test scenarios.
  • Contribute to early testing by reviewing requirements, user stories, and designs.
  • Ensure quality is built into the product from design through deployment.
Android Tools & Environment
  • Use Android Studio for debugging, log analysis, and test execution.
  • Analyze logs (Logcat) and crashes to support defect investigation.
  • Work with emulators and real devices for comprehensive test coverage.
  • Support Android build and release validation.
