Rasmus Listra, Software Engineering Manager for the Zend brand at Perforce is searching for a Software Engineer to join the team. We are looking for an individual who specializes in IBM iSeries development and modernization with PHP, who is a team player with the desire to pursue a career helping customers adopt and drive value from their solutions.Zend by Perforce helps organizations use enterprise PHP to build innovative web and mobile solutions and modernize existing applications. Used by multiple Fortune 100 companies, our proven enterprise PHP offerings include secure, fully-supported PHP runtimes, software infrastructure, tools, certifications, and enterprise long-term support for PHP.Responsibilities:

Work on 64bit ZendServer on IBMi
Continuously improve RPM installer for Zend products on IBMi
Continuously develop, maintain and improve IBMi native library
Continuously improve packaging setup for Zend products on IBMi

Requirements:

5 years experience with C and C++ development
Software Development experience on Linux Operating System is mandatory
Readiness to look into and research RPG
Readiness to learn IBMi in-depth

Good to have:

Hands on IBMi knowledge preferred
Experience with jobs, subsystems, job queues, job resource maintenance on IBMi OS preferred
Experience in LPAR maintenance and configuration preferred
Knowledge of AIX runtime pase environment preferred
Experience with git usage on IBMi preferred
Knowledge of and experience with HMC console preferred
Knowledge and experience with setting up environments on IBM cloud preferred
Knowledge of pitfalls of testing software on IBMi preferred
