Analyzes business requirements/functional designs and works with business teams, BSAs, and other engineers to design systems and application software, mentor junior members of the team.Responsibilities
Requirements AnalysisReviews, analyzes and gives feedback on requirements/functional designsSoftware/Application ArchitectureParticipates in architectural review processSoftware DesignDesigns for larger enhancements and projectsConducts peer design reviewsDevelopment/CodingDevelops and maintains code for larger enhancements, projects and integrationsFixes defects and participates and conducts peer code reviewFollows design and coding standards and processesConducts code performance analysis and tuningApplication QADevelops unit and cross functional tests, develops test strategies, executes test cases, logs issues, manages issues, recommends testing frameworks and records and runs automated test scriptsDevOpsDefines deployment and release guidelinesDefines and executes environment planning and cross-functional dependenciesDocuments the software configuration management practices and educates cross-functional stakeholders on the process and toolsSoftware Reliability & Support EngineeringCaptures, consolidates and maintains inventory of production applications, flows and systems for all the software engineering verticalsHelps in preparing application support documentationTroubleshoots basic application issues with the help of knowledge base documentsReportingStatus reporting, release management progress updatesTechnical Project ManagementProvides level of effort (LOE)Manages assigned development tasks to schedule/planQualifications5+ years experienceBachelor's in Computer Science or Computer EngineeringEquinix is committed to ensuring that our employment process is open to all individuals, including those with a disability.
