- Utilize advanced PowerShell scripting skills to develop and implement automation solutions for desktop processes.
- Create, maintain, and optimize PowerShell scripts to automate routine tasks and improve workflow efficiency.
- Design, develop, and implement desktop automation solutions to streamline processes and enhance user experience.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into effective automation workflows.
- Evaluate and select appropriate automation tools that align with PowerShell capabilities.
- Integrate automation solutions seamlessly into existing desktop environments.
- Analyze current desktop processes and identify opportunities for improvement through automation.
- Collaborate with end-users and stakeholders to understand requirements and continuously improve automated workflows.
- Develop and implement testing procedures to ensure the reliability, accuracy, and security of PowerShell-based automation scripts.
- Conduct validation tests to guarantee the effectiveness of automated processes.
- Create comprehensive documentation for PowerShell scripts, automation workflows, and configurations.
- Provide clear documentation to assist end-users and support teams in understanding and troubleshooting automated processes.
- Consult with Infrastructure department to make sure that projects are in line with desktop support needs and strategies.
- Monitor the performance of the company's desktop infrastructure and make suggestions for improving efficiency & security.
- Install, upgrade, support and troubleshoot MacOS, Windows 10/11, Microsoft Office and any other authorized desktop applications distributed through JAMF or Intunes.
- Install, upgrade, support and troubleshoot for printers, computer hardware and any other authorized peripheral equipment.
- Proven experience as a Desktop Automation Engineer with a focus on PowerShell scripting.
- Experience with desktop management tools and technologies (e.g., Intune, JAMF, PowerShell Desired State Configuration) is highly desirable.
- Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Ability to write, update and maintain locally developed documentation.
