Responsibilities: Develop package of practices for various vegetables (e.g., Chili, Tomato, Baby Corn, Sweet Corn). Integrate good agricultural practices into package of practices (POP). Assist field team in executing POP. Establish field demonstrations and trials. Incorporate farmers' best practices into POP. Identify growers' problems in growing different crops and provide innovative solutions. Conduct farmers' meetings to promote DeHaat products and increase contract growers. Focus on enhancing farmers' profitability by increasing yield/quality and reducing cultivation expenses. Requirements: Agriculture graduate; Postgraduate in Agronomy/Plant Pathology/Agricultural Entomology/Agricultural Chemistry/Soil Science may be advantageous. Minimum 5 years experience in product development/technical department of pesticide/fertilizer, seed companies. Experience in introducing new products to the market. Networking with government agricultural officers, agricultural research institutes, agricultural universities. Exposure to quality certifications such as GlobalGAP, BRC, etc. Familiarity with European Food Safety standards such as MRL requirements. Experience in creating content for leaflets, brochures, etc.
