Minimum qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, a similar field, or equivalent practical experience. 5 years of experience in a lab or industrial setting. Experience with wireless technologies (e.g., Cellular, Bluetooth, WiFi, etc.) and Radio Frequency. Preferred qualifications: Experience with schedule management, communication, cost management, risk assessment and mitigation plans. Knowledge of TEC regulations and standards. As a Technical Program Manager at Google, you'll use your technical expertise to lead complex, multi-disciplinary projects from start to finish. You'll work with stakeholders to plan requirements, identify risks, manage project schedules, and communicate clearly with cross-functional partners across the company. You're equally comfortable explaining your team's analyses and recommendations to executives as you are discussing the technical tradeoffs in product development with engineers. As a Technical Program Manager for RF Compliance, you will lead multi-disciplinary projects and plan requirements with internal customers through the project life-cycle. You will manage project schedules, identify risks, and communicate goals to project stakeholders. The team focuses on lab testing which includes RF, RF exposure, and HAC requirements. The team works to ensure products meet the compliance from the launch to post market surveillance while optimizing performance and user experience. Responsibilities Provide guidance on sample selection, documentation, and test readiness. Support communication, timely updates, and meet goal deadlines, as well as manage status reports, data review, bug generation, and log file collection. Manage software loading and updates for devices and be available for testing witness and in-lab support. Support testing hurdles and assist with other regulatory compliance tasks.
