- Define and oversee the implementation of BIM strategies, standards, and workflows across infrastructure projects.
- Develop and update BIM Execution Plans (BEP), ensuring compliance with contractual, regulatory, and client requirements.
- Support construction supervision activities by coordinating technical aspects of design and execution.
- Ensure alignment between BIM deliverables, construction methods, and on-site requirements.
- Supervise the development, coordination, and validation of BIM models, with particular focus on infrastructure and port projects.
- Perform clash detection, information validation, and quality checks using dedicated coordination and verification software.
- Guarantee that validated models provide reliable support for site activities and project decision-making.
- Facilitate effective communication among design teams, contractors, consultants, and client representatives.
- Ensure structured and transparent data management through CDE platforms.
- Provide guidance and mentoring to BIM Specialists and Technicians.
- Promote continuous improvement by incorporating industry advancements and infrastructure BIM best practices.
- Conduct systematic quality reviews of BIM models and project documentation.
- Implement corrective actions to ensure consistency, compliance, and reliability of deliverables throughout the project lifecycle.
- Develop and maintain BIM protocols, standards, and libraries tailored for infrastructure and port projects.
- Ensure traceability and consistency of documentation within CDE environments.
- Work with Project Managers to integrate BIM processes into project schedules, budgets, and contractual frameworks.
- Coordinate with external stakeholders, subcontractors, and consultants to ensure adherence to BIM standards and support construction oversight.
- Minimum 7 years' experience in BIM management within complex infrastructure projects, preferably port-related.
- Proven ability to provide technical coordination and support within construction supervision frameworks.
- Experience in BIM model verification, clash detection, and compliance checks.
- Strong knowledge of coordination and validation software (e.g., Navisworks, Solibri) and infrastructure-focused tools (e.g., Civil 3D, OpenRoads, Revit Infrastructure).
- Proficiency in managing project data using Common Data Environment platforms (e.g., ACC, ProjectWise, Trimble Connect).
- Demonstrated capacity to lead multidisciplinary teams and support collaboration between office and site teams.
- Ability to conduct structured model reviews and enforce compliance with international and contractual standards.
- Strong analytical skills to address technical issues and optimize workflows in large-scale infrastructure projects.
