Role Description This is a full-time on-site role for a Junior Accountant. The Junior Accountant will be responsible for day-to-day accounting tasks, such as posting transactions, preparing financial reports, and reconciling bank statements. Job Responsibilities JUNIOR ACCOUNTANT. Vendor Bill: 1. Coordinate with Store Keeper for Challan and vendor bill. 2. Submission of vendor bill and identify with challan and process in account respectively. 3. Communicate with vendor for bill and verify with store person. 4. Coordinate with account team for bill process in account. Purchase: 1. Solve the purchase order related query with the coordination of purchase department. 2. Maintaining smooth communication flow with purchase department. 3. Coordinate with management and staff to prepare budgets. 4. Resolve account payable and receivable issues or queries. Must have knowledge of Expense posting and verification, voucher posting and process in account for the same. Junior Accountant Requirements: Bachelors Degree in B.com or Accounting or related field. Proficiency in MS Excel will be plus. Must minimum experience of 1or2 years of experience Ability to work independently and as part of team. Have sound understanding of accounting concept & Systems. Qualifications Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices Experience in preparing financial statements and bank reconciliations Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Gujarati Ability to work independently and under pressure Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting or related field Must have minimum 1 or 2 Years of experience as Jr. Accountant or similar. Job Responsibilities for SENIOR ACCOUNTANT. Overview: As a Senior Accountant, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the financial integrity and accuracy of our organization. You will be responsible for overseeing various accounting functions, providing guidance to junior team members, and contributing to the overall financial strategy of the company. This position requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and a comprehensive understanding of accounting principles and regulations. Key Responsibilities: Financial Reporting: Prepare and analyze financial statements in compliance with GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles) and company policies. Generate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for management and external stakeholders. Ensure timely and accurate completion of financial reporting tasks. 2. Budgeting and Forecasting: Assist in the development of annual budgets and long-term financial forecasts. Monitor budget-to-actual performance and provide variance analysis. Identify areas for cost reduction and efficiency improvements. 3.General Ledger Management: Oversee general ledger activities and ensure proper recording of transactions. Reconcile balance sheet accounts and investigate discrepancies. Maintain documentation and support for audit purposes. 4.Tax Compliance & GST: Collaborate with external tax advisors to ensure compliance with local, state, and federal tax regulations. Prepare and file tax returns accurately and on time. Stay updated on changes in tax laws and regulations that may impact the company. Must be work in GST. 5.Internal Controls and Processes: Develop and implement internal control procedures to safeguard company assets and ensure accuracy in financial reporting. Review and improve accounting processes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness. Conduct periodic audits to assess compliance with internal policies and procedures. 6.Team Leadership and Support: Provide guidance and support to junior accounting staff. Foster a collaborative work environment and promote knowledge sharing. Assist in the recruitment and training of new team members as needed. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA certification preferred. Proven experience (5+ years) in accounting or finance roles, with increasing levels of responsibility. Knowledge of accounting principles, regulations, and financial reporting standards (GAAP). Proficiency in accounting software like Tally etc. as well as must have experience in Excel. Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with stakeholders at all levels. Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy and integrity. Ability to work independently as well as and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment. Experience in Civil Construction will be a plus.
