About the job Head CSR Sales and PartnershipsAbout the RoleOur partner organization is seeking a visionary and results-oriented Head of CSR Sales & Partnerships to strategically lead and significantly expand our corporate social responsibility (CSR) engagement. This pivotal role demands deep insights into the evolving CSR landscape in India, exceptional leadership in devising and executing project scoping, and a proven track record in securing substantial funding and forging high-impact, long-term partnerships. The ideal candidate will possess robust connections within both the non-profit and corporate sectors, driving sustainable growth and ensuring our CSR projects deliver profound social impact in alignment with our organizational mission and strategic objectives.Key ResponsibilitiesStrategic Leadership & Vision
  • Define and articulate the overall strategy and vision for CSR sales and partnerships, aligning with the organization's long-term goals.
  • Monitor and analyze global and national CSR policies, trends, and compliance requirements, including Companies Act 2013 mandates, to proactively identify new opportunities and challenges.
  • Lead the development of innovative and impactful CSR programs, collaborating cross functionally to ensure alignment with both corporate partner objectives and organizational mission.
  • Drive the organization's thought leadership in the CSR space, positioning us as a preferred partner for corporate social investments.
Partnership Development & Fundraising Excellence
  • Spearhead the organizations fundraising efforts, cultivating and nurturing relationships with C-suite executives, corporate boards, foundations, and high-net-worth individuals (HNIs).
  • Develop and execute aggressive strategies to secure significant CSR funding, grants, multiyear partnerships, and innovative funding models.
  • Oversee the design and presentation of highly compelling and customized project proposals, ensuring they resonate with the strategic philanthropic goals of corporate partners.
  • Negotiate complex partnership agreements, ensuring mutually beneficial terms and long-term sustainability.
Team Leadership and Development & Stakeholder Engagement & Relationship Management
  • Recruit, mentor, and lead a high-performing team of CSR Sales & Partnerships professionals.
  • Provide strategic guidance, coaching, and performance management to foster individual and team growth.
  • Establish clear performance metrics and targets for the team, ensuring accountability and consistent achievement of fundraising goals.
  • Cultivate a collaborative and high-energy team environment that encourages innovation and excellence in partner engagement.
  • Serve as the primary ambassador and strategic point of contact for key corporate and philanthropic partners, building and sustaining trust-based relationships at the highest levels.
  • Orchestrate high-impact events, presentations, and forums to showcase the organizations achievements, thought leadership, and attract new collaborators and investors.
  • Represent the organization at national and international forums, conferences, and industry events to enhance visibility and networking opportunities
  • Champion the co-creation of ground-breaking CSR programs with partners, addressing critical social issues with scalable and sustainable solutions.
  • Establish robust monitoring and evaluation frameworks to meticulously track project outcomes, ensuring transparency and reporting of impact.
  • Ensure all projects are meticulously aligned with relevant Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) to enhance global relevance and demonstrate broader impact.
  • Drive continuous improvement in program design and delivery based on impact data and partner feedback.
Desired Qualifications, Experience and Skills
  • A postgraduate degree in business management, social work, sustainable development, or a related field from a reputable institution is highly preferred.
  • 15+ years of progressive experience in non-profit organizations, CSR, strategic fundraising, or business development, with focus on corporate partnerships.
  • Demonstrated leadership experience in developing high-performing sales teams.
  • Exceptional and comprehensive knowledge of the Indian CSR landscape, including regulatory frameworks, emerging trends, and corporate philanthropic expectations.
  • Proven track record of consistently exceeding ambitious fundraising targets and establishing impactful, large-scale partnerships with leading corporations.
  • Superior communication, negotiation, and presentation skills, with a distinguished ability to engage, influence, and build rapport with CXOs, senior board members, and high-level stakeholders.
  • Advanced strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities, with a capacity to translate complex challenges into actionable solutions.
  • Financial acumen with experience in budget management, forecasting, and resource allocation.
  • Expert-level project and program management capabilities, including strategic planning, flawless execution, and rigorous evaluation of multi-faceted initiatives.
  • Deep understanding and practical application of social impact frameworks, including SDG alignment and impact investing principles.
