Hiring for Maximo Technical Consultant -- Bangalore, PuneJob Summary:We are seeking a skilled Maximo Technical Consultant to join our team to support and enhance IBM Maximo implementations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the technical design, development, configuration, and integration of the Maximo Asset Management system, including customizations and upgrades.Key Responsibilities:Design and develop custom applications and enhancements within the IBM Maximo environment using Java, Maximo MBOs, and automation scripts.Configure and customize Maximo objects, workflows, escalations, domains, and applications.Integrate Maximo with external systems using REST/SOAP APIs, JSON/XML, or other middleware platforms.Develop BIRT or Cognos reports within Maximo.Participate in technical design sessions and provide expertise on Maximo architecture and best practices.Troubleshoot system issues, performance bottlenecks, and provide production support.Assist in Maximo upgrades, patching, and environment management.Collaborate with functional consultants, business analysts, and end-users to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.Create and maintain technical documentation, including design documents, system specifications, and user guides.Required Skills and Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.2+ years of hands-on experience with IBM Maximo EAM (7.6 or higher, Maximo Application Suite preferred).Strong proficiency in Java/J2EE and Maximo MBO development.Experience with automation scripting (Jython, JavaScript, or Python).Experience with Maximo Integration Framework (MIF).Familiarity with SQL and Oracle/DB2 databases.Hands-on experience with BIRT report development.Good understanding of Maximo functional modules (Work Management, Asset, Inventory, Procurement).Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
