VP Engineering

• Product Development: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product management, and UX/UI design, to conceptualize, prioritize, and deliver high-quality features and enhancements to our loan management platform.
• Architecture and Infrastructure: Define and implement scalable, secure, and resilient architecture and infrastructure solutions that support the long-term growth and success of our SaaS platform. Ensure compliance with industry best practices and regulatory requirements.
• Team Management: Build, mentor, and motivate a team of software engineers and technical specialists. Provide guidance, support, and professional development opportunities to enable team members to reach their full potential.
• Quality Assurance: Establish and enforce rigorous quality assurance processes and standards to ensure the reliability, usability, and performance of our software products. Implement automated testing and deployment strategies to accelerate delivery cycles.
• Risk Management: Identify potential technical risks and challenges, and develop mitigation strategies to address them effectively. Proactively monitor system performance, security vulnerabilities, and data integrity to safeguard our platform and users' information.
• Collaboration and Communication: Foster a culture of collaboration, transparency, and open communication across all levels of the organization. Work closely with stakeholders to understand their needs and priorities, and align technology initiatives with business objectives.
• Innovation and Research: Encourage and support innovation within the technology team, promoting experimentation and exploration of new ideas and technologies. Drive research and development initiatives to identify opportunities for product differentiation and competitive advantage

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. MBA or equivalent business experience is a plus.
• Proven track record of leadership in software engineering and technology roles, with at least [6] years of experience in a senior management position.
• Deep understanding of SaaS architecture, cloud computing, microservices, and modern software development methodologies (e.g., Agile, DevOps).
• Extensive experience in designing and building scalable, high-performance web applications and APIs using technologies such as Java, Python, Node.js, etc.
• Strong knowledge of database technologies (e.g., SQL, NoSQL) and data management principles, with a focus on data security, privacy, and compliance.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders and inspire confidence in the technology team.
• Proven ability to drive organizational change, foster innovation, and deliver results in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
• Experience in the financial services industry, particularly in loan management or fintech, is highly desirable.
