This involves research and development in areas such as Building Information Modelling (BIM), digital twins, IoT integration, and advanced data management systems. Overall, construction R&D aims to drive industry transformation, improve project outcomes, and meet the evolving needs of stakeholders in the AECO sector.We are seeking a Senior Full Stack Software Engineer with strong expertise in React (frontend) and Node.js or Java (backend) to design, build, and scale modern web applications. This role requires a hands-on senior engineer with deep technical expertise who thrives in a collaborative environment and is passionate about building high-quality, performant, and maintainable software.You will work closely with product managers, designers, and other engineers to deliver end-to-end solutions that power critical business capabilities.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign, develop, and maintain scalable full-stack web applicationsBuild responsive, high-performance UI components using ReactDevelop robust backend services and APIs using Node.js and/or Java (Spring Boot preferred)Architect RESTful and/or GraphQL APIsCollaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new featuresLead technical design discussions and mentor junior engineersWrite clean, maintainable, testable code with strong test coverageOptimize applications for maximum speed, scalability, and securityParticipate in code reviews and establish engineering best practicesContribute to CI/CD pipelines and DevOps processesTroubleshoot and resolve production issuesRequired Qualifications5+ years of professional software engineering experienceStrong backend experience with Node.js (Express/NestJS) and/or Java (Spring Boot)Strong proficiency in React (Hooks, Context API, state management libraries like Redux/Zustand)Experience building and consuming RESTful APIsSolid understanding of data modeling and experience with databasesExperience with authentication/authorisation (OAuth, JWT, SSO)Familiarity with cloud platforms - AWSExperience with containerization (Docker) and CI/CD pipelinesStrong understanding of system design and scalable architectureExcellent problem-solving and communication skills#LI-SJ1Learn MoreAbout AutodeskWelcome to Autodesk!
