Job Description:OverviewThe purpose of this role is to be responsible for leading the design, development, and deployment of complex, scalable MuleSoft integration solutions. The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in MuleSoft's Anypoint Platform, API management, and integration patterns, with a strong focus on delivering high-quality, performant, and maintainable applications
Responsibilities
  • Lead the architecture, design, development, and deployment of MuleSoft applications and APIs which leverage Salesforce best practices and PepsiCo standards.
  • Design and implement API-led connectivity strategies
  • Work directly with stakeholders to design/govern highly usable, scalable, extensible, and maintainable Mulesoft applications.
  • Develop and maintain complex integration flows using MuleSoft's Anypoint Platform
  • Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize MuleSoft applications for performance and stability
  • Mentor and guide junior developers on MuleSoft best practices and technologies
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into technical solutions
  • Participate in code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards and Pepsico best practices
  • Contribute to the development of MuleSoft integration roadmaps and strategies
  • Conceptualize a new product or, new feature or, new component and to test new technologies or features through PoCs
  • Lead the implementation of CI/CD pipelines for MuleSoft applications:
  • Configure and customize MuleSoft Anypoint Platform components such as API Manager, Anypoint Studio, and Runtime Manager to build scalable and reliable integration solutions
  • Deal with ambiguous problems, take responsibility for finding solutions, and drive towards simple solutions to complex problems
  • Use deep business knowledge of MuleSoft products to help assist with estimation for major new initiatives.
  • Contribute to Salesforce team building activities by creating reference architectures, common patterns, data models and re-usable assets that empower our stake holders to maximize business value using the breadth of the Salesforce solutions available, also harvesting knowledge from existing implementations.
  • Evangelize and educate internal stakeholders about Salesforce MuleSoft Trends and technology enhancements (e.g. CoPs, Workshops, or Conferences).
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, MIS, Business, or similar field.
  • 14+ years of overall IT experience with a strong focus on integration technologies and related contributions in a large enterprise.
  • Extensive experience with MuleSoft's Anypoint Platform, including Anypoint Studio, API Manager, and CloudHub
  • At least 8 -10 years of experience and Strong understanding of API-led connectivity and API management principles with prior experience in in designing and implementing RESTful and SOAP web services
  • Strong understanding of API-led connectivity and API management principles
  • Proficiency in designing and implementing RESTful and SOAP web services
  • Experience with DataWeave transformations and other MuleSoft components
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines and deployment strategies:
  • At least 4 years of experience as a Mulesoft Architect/Technical lead
  • Knowledge of integration patterns and best practices
  • Agile delivery experience.
  • MCD Level 1/ Level 2, MCIA , MCPA
  • Strong Oral and Written communications skills
